The purpose of the “Antimicrobial Resistance” Connection is to serve as a platform for collaboration between research groups attached to the CSIC that hope to find synergies and expand their research through the different sectors that are involved in this complex problem (health sector, veterinary, environmental environment), and that would not otherwise be feasible. In addition, the Connection also aims to promote contact with prestigious national (non-CSIC) and international groups, increasing the visibility of its members, their results and activities. It should be noted that collaboration between members of the Connection can be essential to obtain funding in European or international programs, which will have a positive impact on current research and will strengthen the CSIC as a reference entity on this topic.
