The Serafín and Joaquín Álvarez Quintero CEIP in Utrera, with its school garden, will join the centres that carry out activities in the RECICOMP-HUERTOS Citizen Science project. This project uses compost from the organic fraction of selectively collected waste for the cultivation of various vegetables. The compost comes from the municipality of Olvera and has been supplied by the public company Básica SAU. This compost is of high quality due to the efficient separation carried out by the door-to-door collection system in the Municipalities Association of the Sierra de Cádiz. With the collaboration of Paqui Moscoso, a monitor in the school gardens of Utrera, and several teachers, the preparation of several flowerbeds has begun and the students will carry out various activities.
