El periódico de tirada nacional El País recoge hoy (24/10/2014) en un artículo la polémica científica sobre la reapertura de la cueva de Altamira. En él se recogen las opiniones basadas en los diferentes trabajos de investigación llevados a cabo a lo largo de los últimos veinte años por el equipo del CSIC liderado por Sergio Sánchez Moral, Investigador Científico del Museo Nacional de Ciencias Naturales, y Cesáreo Sáiz Jiménez, Profesor de Investigación del IRNAS, que se publicarán in extenso en el libro de próxima aparición The Conservation of Subterranean Cultural Heritage. Sáiz Jiménez y publicado por la prestigiosa editorial británica CRC Press, recoge las ponencias y mesas redondas del Workshop internacional sobre conservación del patrimonio subterráneo llevado a cabo en Sevilla el pasado Marzo. The Spanish newspaper El País, publishes today (24/10/2014) an article on the scientific debate on the re-opening of Altamira Cave. The article discloses the opinions based on twenty years of research work of the CSIC team lead by Sergio Sánchez Moral, Scientific Researcher of the Spanish National Museum of Natural Sciences and Cesáreo Sáiz Jiménez, Research Professor at IRNAS, which will be published in extenso in the forthcoming book The Conservation of Subterranean Cultural Heritage.
